Post-All Valley Tournament: Kreese and Cobra Kai's Fall

" "

In 'The Karate Kid 3', it becomes evident that Mr. Kreese lost all his students. He disgraced himself at the All Valley tournament and, as a result, lost all credibility in the Valley. As a measure to protect his interests, Kreese shut down the Cobra Kai dojo and locked it up, trying to sell it back to his silent business partner, Terry Silver.

" "

Although the post-narrative events of the characters involved have been explored, this article will focus primarily on the evolution and demise of the actual Dojo. It was left empty and abandoned for years before being transformed into a store that sells holistic therapy products. This transformation emulated a humorous yet significant shift from the macho image of Cobra Kai to a more hippie and Zen approach, much unlike Kreese's original intent.

Post-Karate Kid 3: The Aftermath

" "

Following the events of the first and second movies, nearly all of the original Cobra Kai students abandoned Kreese. Kreese insulted his top students for failure in the All Valley tournament and as a result, lost most of his students. At the start of 'Karate Kid 3', the All Valley organizers left a voicemail for Kreese informing him he had not paid his dues and that the Cobra Kai dojo had no students. This further restricted their participation in the tournament.

" "

Motivated by both anger and necessity, Kreese visited his old friend and benefactor, Terry Silver. Silver, a multimillionaire Karateka, offered a fresh approach, recruiting a top competitor named Mike Barnes. Kreese and Silver aimed to not only defeat Daniel LaRusso but to humiliate and hurt him. This, however, backfired, and Mr. Miyagi intervened, leading to LaRusso's victory over Barnes during the tournament. The crowd also began to boo Cobra Kai, jeering at both Kreese and Silver.

" "

The conduct of Cobra Kai during the All Valley tournament led to their permanent ban from the tournament. In addition to the ban, the club suffered significant reputational damage. Kreese was deflated and essentially banned from competitive karate. With the reputation of Cobra Kai in tatters, Silver could no longer provide support, believing that his efforts were in vain.

" "

Following these events, Daniel LaRusso, now a successful businessman, joined the All Valley Karate committee. He extended the temporary ban on Cobra Kai to a permanent ban, effectively eradicating the last remnants of the organization in the Valley.

" "

Resurrection of Cobra Kai

" "

Despite the ban, Cobra Kai was eventually resurrected 34 years later by Johnny Lawrence. At this time, the original All Valley committee had moved on, and only Daniel LaRusso remained to remember the original purpose and legacy of Cobra Kai.

" "

The journey of Cobra Kai in the series is a tale of highs and lows, showcasing the impact of individual choices and the evolution of the karate world.
